The History of Taylor Electric Coop

Over 80 years ago, our ancestors gathered together to bring electricity to this area when large investor-owned utilities refused. Along the way they did much more than provide electricity- they used THE COOPERATIVE SPIRIT to make a difference. Today, THE COOPERATIVE SPIRIT lives on and is evident in members, employees and community members. Throughout 2020, we’ll take a look at the stories of the ones who continue to power the difference, power the progress, power the community and power the future.
